Grape Leaves
Hello Arks Harvest family,
I hope everyone is staying well I’ve been dealing with some smoke inhalation from the wildfires. I had an event to prepare for on Sunday and inhaling all that smoke got the best of me so I took a few days to recover. I still managed to get myself to Arks on Monday and picked up some beautiful produces to create for you all.
Let’s talk about something most of us aren’t familiar with including myself (well at least not the fresh leaves) GRAPE LEAVES…. They can be obtained fresh, or preserved in jars or cans. The leaves are commonly rolled or stuffed with mixtures of meat and rice to produce dolma found widely in the Mediterranean, Balkans, and Middle East. If using fresh you first need to remove the bottom of the stem and blanche them in water for around 10 seconds until they turn to brown ish color….before beginning the stuffing & rolling process.

Produces from Arks Harvest grape leaves,onions,lemon,garlic.
